| There is a certain buzz of excitement
at our farm with the birth of this colt as
he represents the first blend between the
blood of both of our stallions. Out of a
full sister to
Judge's Criminal Justice and sired by
Im Your Gold Huckleberry, the
anticipation for a very high quality foal
was pretty intense, and so far we are very
pleased. |

| Hershey has excellent bone, a short
back, hooked ears, and he has the gorgeous
head and confident attitude of his uncle,
Judge's Criminal Justice. Best of
all, he has a strong, driving hind end with
a loose, swinging gait. Just like we like 'em! |

| Solid colored with only a star, his
conservative color has timeless class and
will appeal to those who appreciate an
unusually beautiful, yet modest color.
Hershey is extremely photogenic, and
watching him through my lens really takes me
back to when Justice was a baby. The fine
arch to his neck is incredible and I can't
wait to see how he matures. |

| Like his dam, this foal's mature
color will be a rich, "Hershey's" dark
chocolate color with golden highlights in
his flanks, behind his elbows, on his
muzzle, and beside his tail. His legs, mane
and tail will be black. Belle Starr is is a
treasured member of our herd, and she is a
most beautiful mare. We are pleased that
Hershey carries her color - right down to
the star. |

| Boys, boys, boys...Always the biggest
clowns on our place! As you can see by the
picture, he is hoping for a career in
modelling! Hershey does have a very profuse
mane and tail, and I do anticipate him
having plenty of his own gorgeous black
locks in a few years. Model is certainly not
out of the question, but we feel Hershey
would really shine as a personal trail
mount, or showing in trail pleasure classes.

| I finally got some new
pictures of little Berry'd In
Chocolate. Hershey is growing up
well, and continues to show
excellent potential for show. He
has a beautiful head with big,
expressive eyes and great hooked
ears. |

| Hershey has a long, loose
stride and beautiful gait, both
slow and moving at speed. |

| Check out his nice
stride! Hershey is is beginning
to shed his fuzzy baby coat to a
slick, rich brown color. We know
there's a swan beneath all that
sunfaded hair and plan to show
him at the TWHBEA futurity in
Dallas, Texas this fall. |
